Complaint Review: Cruises.com

Cruises.com (not to be confused with cruise.com - a much more reputable company) cheated my husband and I out of a cruise discount. After over ten attempts to have them rectify the situation, they still refused to do so.

My husband is an active duty Military Officer. He faxed a copy of his military ID to cruises.com as soon as it was requested (twice even) several months before the cruise. One month before the cruise we were informed the military discount is not being applied to our reservation.

While Cruises.com tells us that they were unable to provide the military proof to Carnival in the timeframe that Carnival requires, that is the fault of Cruises.com and Cruises.com is still obligated to meet the agreement they made with us. After many many calls and faxes, cruises.com consistently refuses to refund to us the discount. I have notified military legal offices and am issuing public notices so that others can be forewarned.
