I recently took over a website, http://www.worldssaddestsongs.com/ with plans for development. The site is currently a list of about 800 songs, ranked according to the originators view and the songs' presence in short lists of prominence in the media.
I noticed one day that traffic had taken a big hit and a search via Google showed that a site http://www.sad-songs.com/ had appeared. The site relates to a band and had the title of a song of theirs, with the whole of my list underneath, positions moved down one.
Their song incorporates the words "sad song" so theft of the list and addition of some keywords meant they were able to persuade search engines that they should rank high for the same keyword phrases as I use.
