Complaint Review: Crystal Creek Apartments

 In 2014 my roommate and I went to Crystal Creek Apartments to look at what they had to offer. We were shown a beautiful "model" (which had never been lived in) and decided we would rent there. The exact same thing that occurred with the other person on this site happened to us. The carpet was ANYTHING but clean, the caulking in bathroom and kitchen looked as though they blindfolded a monkey and handed him the tube of caulk. There was a 1+ inch of caulk bead around bathroom sink, which we later saw that was how they kept it from falling through the vanity. Burn marks all over the counters and a shower nozzle that only spit at you but DID manage to send enough up and over so you had to mop it all up when you were finished. Cabinet doors in kitchen not attached, oven that didn't work and gads the list just goes on. My roommate and I could not get along and it was decided that I would be taken off the lease through the office, surrender my keys and deposit on the apartment and I moved out. The Authorized Agents name was Kimberly Butler and the documents were signed by ALL parties on 09/08/2014. Fast forward into end of 2015 what pops up on my credit report??? Yes you guessed it - it's like the they "forgot" what was done in Sept. 2014? So I called them and they said they have nothing to do with it - it wasn't up to them to correct "THEIR" error - everybody say HUH???? So I write a letter demanding this be taken off my credit report WITH a copy of the release of lease signed by all parties, this was sent Priority Mail through the USPS (with tracking) to the Crystal Creek Apartments AND the Collection Agency (National Credit Systems, Inc. out of Atlanta, GA) that was trying to collect. Well it came off the credit report temporarily - today I get a letter from an "Attorney Gerald E. Moore & Associates, PC - out of  Atlanta, GA (it's a different letter head but almost the exact same P.O. Box as the National Credit Systems, Inc. so I am guessing this attorney's office is trying to make a case for money owed by Christopher James Moore from me?? This is my first complaint, I will send a dispute letter (again) to this "NEW" Collector, I will now also notify the Attorney Generals office for Nevada as well as Georgia, a complaint to the State Bar in Georgia for this attorney as well as the local BBB. (Even though they aren't a member, big surprise there right.) Small Claims Case is also on the burner for Harrassment I mean it is getting to the point it is ridiculous and costing me time and effort $5000 is the limit allowed in this state. Maybe it can cost THEM time and effort too. Any others who have been lied to, scammed by or otherwise screwed over by this company OR any Attorney's looking for a justified Class Action - call me!
