cs-fashion,net I was nearly scammed by some two-bit phishing punks Internet
I saw an e-mail allgedly from Comcast saying to fill out a survey and if I did they would send me a prize from a list- I had
filled out the survey and then got onto this page to enter my name, address & I think telephone number too. So after I did
that I got onto another page that said the item requested (a watch) would be "free" but $6.95 shipping charges, and the
list to put my credit card info on. I then read the fine print which said something like after a 14 day trial for "free" I'd have to pay full price for any future items or whatever it said.
I immediately realized this was just another scam artist or artists at work. Luckily I was smart to it now and I did not give
these shysters any credit card info.
I don't know why I was made to think this was all halfway legitimate but when they want your c.c. info & your addresses & names anyone should give immediate second thoughts to scumbags like this one.
In the past I have ran into phishing type e-mails and recognised them for what they were- why I foolhartedly almost fell 100% for this jive talk routine I don't really know but I should have said TO HELL WITH THIS again.
