Our daughter was getting married and we booked a beautiful condo in Myrtle Beach SC. The realty company told us to add the travel cancellation insurance in case some problems arose that were unavoidable.
Our daughters fiance is currently serving active duty in Iraq and had a leave on the dates of the planned wedding but these plans were changed and his leave was revoked. I called the realty company with the news that the wedding had been delayed and CSA was notified and the claim forms sent to us. After filing the claim it was rejected within 1 week due to the incident not being covered under CSA Travel policy benefits. I received a letter stating to refer to the policy under Summary Of Coverages one problem I had was I never received any policy and didn't know what was covered. I did investigate on my on and looked the company up online and found that this incident is covered which states: Military Duty-Due to a natural disaster your travel companion has his leave revoked and has to cancel his trip, also covers revocation of previously granted leave or reassignment due to war.

I read somewhere that the USA is involved in a war Duh! I am proud my daughters fiance fights for his country and for everyone that is an American.

did you tell them about the military thingy? based on your story it seems you told them you cancelled due to the wedding being cancelled...i know why it was cancelled...but it seems maybe csa did not? weddings being cancelled are not covered for example i imagine. wedding being cancelled because someone is sick...or maybe even military reasons...well thats another story. im sure the INSURANCE has TERMS and CONDITIONS which apply....so why would you buy something and you don't know what it covers for. you're dumb.
