Last summer, August 2011 I downloaded a copy of all three credit reports from the big 3 - Equifax, Experian, and Transunion... I was reconciling paperwork as I do every year, to make sure things are good.  I have hardcopies of each.

In February, I came across a problem with my credit union, and opted to discontinue business with them, moving my money to another credit union locally.  To move everything, I had to refinance my car which was not possible due to no credit history on file with Equifax.

Investigating further:  I emailed from the CSC website, and  I called.  I was routed to a call center in Sri Lanka (or maybe India) where I talked to three different people who said everything was good but my file was "Split in two" and the man I last spoke with gave me directions on what to do next:  Call Equifax.     When I ended the call and sent another email.

I called equifax, and got transferred a couple of times and went back online filing a complaint with their "how was your experience" survey.  They called me, and were unable to help.  During the call I was transferred twice.

From the beginning, I submitted in writing a request to fix the problem.  I have since received 4 form letters, asking for further information (drivers license, proof of social security number, etc)  and each time I comply, and renew my request, and adding on with what was already done.  The lastest I replied and included a copy of my credit report they said does not exist (all 42 pages) highlighting dates, numbers, and other relevant information.

Today is June 23rd 2012.  This was initiated in early March... the 2nd or 3rd I believe.   Still no resolution.  I have filed with the TX attorney General, under possible identity theft/fraud, and have not heard from them either (30 days have passed).

This is a problem
