I answered an ad on the internet advertising a three day trial for $2.99 of Ladies Secrets.I was billed on my credit card for $49.00 without my authorization. They say I will automatically be billed each month for the same amount. Also not authorized.I have tried for one week to find an address so I can contact them and they have none I can find. The name on my bank account billing is boservices 8699992 date 7/19 this is for $49.99. The only other billing for $49.99 is from XBillco.uk 7/24. I have no idea what this for as once again there seems to be no one I can contact for the information. I will appreciate anything you can do to help me with this matter.

i was charged for something i did not autoize-apperently a so called 'free' porn site and then billed automatically by xbill.co.uk

their site is not accessable-therefore could not cancel. i now have to close my account and open a new one.

this is a major scam by the porn sites so beware!!!

From the Terms of the Ladies Secret web-site:

"Global Intermedia's trial memberships will renew to a full membership 48 hours after signup. Membership will not be renewed if subscriber cancels within initial 48 hours and can provide proof of such cancellation via cancellation confirmation number. Trial memberships MUST be cancelled within the initial 48 hour period to avoid further billing.

Cancellation for trail and full membership may ONLY be accomplished via the online Global Intermedia Customer Service Website. You may access this website by going to http://askcs.com. Upon cancellation of your account, you will receive a Cancellation Confirmation Number for your records. "
You should cancel your membership ASAP.

Xbill is a uk/us credit card processing center, working for porn sites. I assume that the Ladies Secret site or Global Intermedia shared your credit card numnber with another porn site/Xbill.
Here is the contac phone for XBill: 888-357-9189
Call them. Or go to the www.xbill.co.uk site for more contact info.

CLOSE your credit card account before you get more and more charges from more and more porn sites.

STAY away from any "free/$2.99" 3-7 day trial memberships. They are always impossible to cancel in time. NEVER sign up for ANY site (not even not porn) where the ONLY contact info is e-mail address.

Read your credit card statement every month. If you ever find an unauthorized charge, contact the credit card company.

Somewhere on your credit card statement there should be instructions about what to do if your card has been charged without your authorization. It often involves sending a letter to a particular address, different than the one you send your payment to. Do exactly what the instructions tell you to do.

Do not delay as your time is usually limited to 60 days.

If all else fails, report your card as being lost. The credit card issuer will cancel that number and send you a new card with a new number. This will not get any of your money back but will prevent anyone from charging your card.
