Cuisine Sante International Over Priced and Can't be Returned Ottawa, Ontario
My husband and I went to a Cuisine Sante cooking show, and decided to buy their $2300 cookware set. In and of itself it seemed over-priced, but they threw in a salad cutter and flatware as well as a week condo vacation, so we thought it would probably be worth it.
Then they added in shipping and handling (which is odd because you get all the items right there) and taxes. So we ended up paying over $3000 from all the hidden fees!
By the time we got home, we were realizing that this was way more than we meant to spend. Way more than we could afford. So we read our "30day return policy" and tried to bring them back. Unopened. Unused. But "sorry, that is not an available option."
So what ARE our options? We can work for them - selling over-priced cookware and scam other people, until we CAN afford to pay it off. We can pay a $20% cancellation fee (I thought 30 day return meant 30day return). Or...better yet...we can talk a friend into buying the over-priced cookware - and that somehow makes things better, so they'll let us return ours.
I'm disgusted with their manipulation of numbers and their pathetic customer service. Even if their prices were good, I'd never buy from them again.
PS. if you're wondering what a good price for their cookware is - look in the $300-$600 range. For exactly what they're offering. They're NOT saving you money.
