Dan stone is rude and puts the lives of his employees at risk. I went in and heard a conversation about a employee who was calling in sick. Dan stone was rude and disrespectful to the employee. He put the employees life at risk by telling him he needed to work. That he might be let go. If someone is sick and can't work and is forced to work that puts the employee life at risk not to mention that it puts the other people working with them at risk. He should not work for them and Dan stone should be fired before a lawsuit happens for neglect. He is very unprofessional.

I have worked for Culinary Staffing for a few years now. Dan is a kind man. It isn’t right for you to get on here and make inflammatory remarks. He is not a racist, first of all. If you have no proof, you shouldn’t be saying it! Second, you have no idea what was said on the other end of the phone.

For all you know, that person can be addicted to calling off! I know a lot of people that work for culinary, and about half of them are flakey and don’t take their commitments seriously, so they call off. The rule of not calling off less than 24 hours before your shift is a fair rule. It is not too much to ask.

Sometimes 24 hour notice isn’t possible, however. I, myself, had to call off while projectile vomiting into my toilet one time. (Food poisoning). If you’re going to call off giving them less than 24 hours notice, you should be able and willing to provide them with physical proof.

Dan, or anyone else who works at Culinary Staffing, would never want to put anyone’s life in danger. I’m sure they are just tired of people like you thinking it is acceptable to not take your job seriously. I don’t know how I came across this post, but i’m glad i did. Shame on you for putting Culinary (and Dan) on blast like this!
