BEWARE!!! This place will rip you off. I took my car in there because the "Check Engine" light was on. They said it needed new spark plugs and coils. Of course, they also said I needed other work done (brakes, tires, etc.) and charged me $2,100. Then, after I picked up the car, the "Check Engine" light came back on and the wheel alignment they did was off. I had to bring the car back in for them to do additional work and fix the wheel alignment. Another $500.

If you take your car in to Curry's Auto, be prepared to pay more for extra work.

They've lost me as a customer for life. What a scam.

First, they can only fix what you tell them to fix,you should have told them to just fix your problem with the check engine light. There are to many places that will suggest that you need this or that and unless you know better it becomes a scare tatic.Tires are pretty easy, they should have at least 2/32nds of tread and the little guage to check that is very cheap, but if you don't have one handy just take a penny stick it in the tread with the top of Licolns head going in first,if you can't see the top of his head while looking across the tire then the tire is still good.

As far as the wheel alignment,if your tires are wearing on one side or the other then it's out,if there wearing even then you have no problems. But if you don't check them out at least once a month, then your creating your own problems. All it takes is bending over to look at the tread,if your front end is out you will notice a difference in the tires.

I would also be curious what they did the second time you went back to get the check engine light out,the way I see it because they didn't fix the problem they should be responsible for it,other wise they are nothing more than parts changers, change all the parts untill you get the right one.

They have to stop doing these kind of things to people,a bill for $2600 bucks would ruin alot of people, not to mention alot of them would not be able to get there car back, and alot of times these days a car is the only thing between a family and starvation and that is not an over statement.

The less people know about cars the more they are at the mercy of car repair shops.

So my final thoughts here is,yes they took you for a ride. But I have been wrong before.

   Good luck and God Bless.
