I went into the Merrimack Gold's Gym beginning of March.

I agreed to the 1st month of training service but told the trainer many many times that I did not want a month to month contract but I did want to try it for a month to see how it goes. 
 
The trainer/sales guy manager said no problem, I paid for the first month and he said all I had to do was cancel the auto-renewal so they do not keep charging month to month.  He said I can cancel for no charge.
 
That is what I did, I called to cancel the auto-renewal and they said that I have a contract till November and they would not auto-renewal after that month of November. 
 
I did not want a contract to go through till November, I am a new mom and just simply can not afford this amount every month so I tried to cancel and they said I would have to pay for this month of April and an additional $387 cancellation fee.  Now this is ridiculous. 
 
There is no way I would of signed this contract, the sales guy/trainer LIED to me and I will no way pay for this service that I did not use or this outrageous cancellation fee for his LIES....all I want is out of my contract and I want the calls to stop.  To me this company is a scam and I was tricked into this fraudulent company who now threatens to send me to collections for something I did not agree to!!!!!

These guys are the worst. The person who signed you up in Merrimack has close ties with the guys in Nashua who tricked me. These guys are absolute scam artists and are taught how to trick people into signing up for longterm contracts.
