Custom Marine Stained my boat seats, wouldn't admit it. Seneca,IL
Used to trust him, no more. Going there for 5 years, and this spring when I pulled my Sea Ray out of my garage, and removed the boat cover all the way, a stain from a 3 " washer , bushing, or specialty nut. (had three tabs on it ) was imprinted on my sun pad.
Ken looked at it, and as soon as he said "I'll ask my mechanics", I knew he was not going to do the right thing.
It wasn't there in the fall when I took it to him, it's been in storage in my summer house garage with the cover on it all winter and I have never seen a piece of hardware that looks like the stain on the sun pad. When I asked another mechanic, he said it sounds like a component from a stern drive.
Since Ken didn't admit to the damage ( it will cost over $1,000 to repair) he either thinks that someone sneaked into my garage in the winter and put it there, or more likely, made a decision to loose a customer rather than own up the what happened.
I'll let you decide.
