Complaint Review: Custom Security Guard and Patrol

The owners Jeff and Ramona Sellers are up to their old tricks again.  They once owned Green Valley Security and sold it. They have started Custom Security Guard and Patrol they are doing the same thing to employees.  They have put their son-in-law Brandon in charge as Director of Operations to run things and he and the other management staff will do whatever they have to to not pay overtime while working a person for 8.50 per hour at straight time over 40 hours while the clients pay upwards of 30 bucks an hour. 

They regular post a job announcement on craigs list stating hiring bonus after 90 days.  Don't believe this.  Once you have 90 days and ask for it they tell you they do not have it in their budget. You will NOT get ahead in the company and pay raises are non existent. Almost every security officer makes the same wage except patrol driver supervisors who make a little more no matter what post you are assigned to.

This company is desperate for employees and he hiring process is simply.  As long as you can fill out an application, then walk around the outside of the office complex while completing a DAR for about 10 minutes, complete a 5 minute interview and give give them your guard card and driver license you get hired.  They are just looking for a warm body to fill a post(s).

They only provide two uniform shirts and a jacket upon request.  If the shirts or jacket get damaged they charge $25 per shirt.  You must supply your own pants, bel, and shoes.

Training is basically non existant.  They put you on a post with another security officer and expect you to learn everything in about 4 hours.
