CVS on Hamilton Mill Rd is advertising on their outside sign "Coke 3 for 9".  At that price  I went inside to purchase the coke at 3 for $9.  I was told by the clerk that they are 3 for $11. Then you get a $2  coupon back "which is like buying them for $9". No it is not when you outside sign says 3 for $9. I expected to get my cokes at 3 for $9 not 3 for $11.

Sure it's only $2, but I pulled out of traffic and went into the store and was treated like I had no idea what I was talking about.  The clerk just kept saying "okay" like I was a puppy.  I even photographed the sign.  She did not give me the advertised price on the sign.

The bait: Coke 3 for $9. The switch: Coke 3 for $11 with a $2  coupon. As the clerk said, you will still pay 3 for $11 despite the advertised price on their outside sign.

The sign says "Coke 3 For 9".  So you are right it doesn't say "after $2 off coupon".

But let me ask you this.  3 What?  Is it 3-Liters, 3-2 Liters, 3-12 Packs, 3-24 Packs.   You see anything you give as an answer is an "assumption" on your part because the sign doesn't state it.

You could have just as easily walked into the store and if they said "Yea the 3 for 9 is three 2 Liter bottles for 9 Dollars".  Oh and there would be nothing illegal or "bait and switch" about it because a store can charge what ever it wants for Coke.  It is up to you whether or not you want to pay that price.
