CVS Caremark Only Recieved 1 month's worth of medication, paid for 3 Lee's Summit Missouri

A CVS Caremark pharmacy representative contacted me regarding my prescription.  This was my first year navigating with mail order services and my first year with this company.  The representative stated that I did not have enough refills left for the 90 day supply but that I did have a 30 day supply available.  Since I was seeing my doctor that week, I told him that I would get the prescription renewed.  The representative offered to send me my 30 day supply prescription but that they could not do the 90 day supply until I got the renewed prescription.   However, the representative did not disclose to me that I would be charged the same amount for the 30 day supply as the 90 day supply.  I emailed and spoke with their customer care support and the response that I got was that was how the mail order system worked, that any shipment of any day supply would cost the same as a 90 day supply.  And that there was no further action they could do to refund me my money.
