CVS CVS EXTRA CARE IS A RIPOFF Plano Tx
A store manager in Plano, TX talked me into signing up for CVS ExtraCare. He told me I could simply cancel at any time. NO YOU CANT! I cannot cancel my membership nor can I delete my debit card from the account. I have emailed twice to cancel my account, but I get no response. I tried to call CVS, but I get the "unusually high volume" message which really means, "we aren't going to talk to you." RUN FROM CVS EXTRACARE unless you enjoy throwing away your money.

contact your bank and have them cancel your debit card and issue you a new one with a different number. People lose debit cards all the time, right? I lost mine last year and reported it to my bank. They cancelled it and sent me a new one with a different number.
Something else to consider; if this happened to you, it would be logical to conclude that it’s happening to others, correct? You might want to mail a copy of your Ripoff Report to Dateline NBC in New York. Put it to the attention of: Investigative Reporter. Maybe they’ll go undercover into a CVS and see if this is something they’re doing to other customers.
***Dateline NBC’s address is available at this site. Just type in 271771 and it appears in Consumer Comment #1 at Ripoff Report 271771.
Good luck to you, and make sure to spread your Ripoff Report all over the web at sites like Twitter & Facebook every day!
