I am a disabled adult on medicaid, which allows me unlimited insurance however somewhere along the line, I have paperwork limiting me to only 3 medications a month, its unclear at this point where along the line the error occured but thats not what my problem with cvs is. I have a broken foot which had a few pins put in just the other day, I brought my prescriptions for my pain medication along with several other prescriptions to be filled. Because of the error they had to charge me for 2 of my medications, which the two they chose for me were the most expensive ones.

They are supposed to let me choose which medications I would like to be charged for. They chose for me based on which medications were ordered and not cost or situation. They gave me my epipen refill which I have one of and my asthema medications which I have some and want to charge me $70 for my a vicoden generic substitute. needless to say on my small disability check as a parent I don't have $70 for the medication.

when asked why I wasn't given my pain medication and charged on other medications which the other combinations which would have cost $50 or less their response was "well we figured this is what you'd want because asthma is serious." well hello I have some of the others and can wait til tuesday when I can contact people to straighten this out but I have no pain medications and I just had surgery. I have two little ones I have to take care of, how do you expect me to be the parent I need to be without any pain medications and just having surgery? Her response "sorry maam I can't do anything about it now. You'll have to wait til tuesday and call and fix it on your end."

Needless to say, On tuesday when this gets fixed, I'm pulling my prescriptions from cvs and getting them filled at my hometown pharmacy due to their blantent disregard to help the patient and the fact that for 4 days Im stuck not having my pain medications for a surgery done days ago.
