Complaint Review: Cyber (Net ) Detective - Harris Digital Publishing Group

I upgraded my cyber detective account to the plus form in order to actually get data worth having since the original tool was pretty worthless.

After spending 9.95 in addition to the original 39.95 to "try out" the plus version, I discovered within one hour, that the plus version was even worse than the original version. The data was at least 5 years old when data could actually be found. In fact it showed my father as a Virginia resident, when he has lived in the same Florida home since 1980.

I immediately wrote suctomer service and told them how disappointed I was and asked for a refund. This is the reply.

"Thank you for writing, and for using Cyber Detective Plus.

Please remember that you subscribed to Cyber Detective Plus through our website. You have already paid for services rendered. Although there is no refund available for services already provided, your subscription is cancelled and further subscription charges discontinued."

I did not get any services rendered... I am furious. When I wrote back sayig they had a money-back guarantee they responded with this:

"We do offer a money back guarantee on the standard edition, but not the Plus. If you have any further questions we recommend you read our terms and conditions."

These folks are a total rip off. DO NOT USE CYBER DETECTIVE PRODUCTS or HARRIS DIGITAL PUBLISHING. Thieves!
