Cyberlink Product does not work and support is not adequate , Internet
I purchased PowerDirector9 made by Cyberlink from Herman Street for my PC with a Windows 7 operating system. The software did not work. I contacted Herman Street and they told me to contact Cyberlink. I contacted Cyberlink several times. They made numerous suggestions and none of them worked. They then requested that I prove that I purchased the product by sending them the invoice. I did this. I contacted Herman Street and asked for a refund. They requested that I send them a copy of all of the contacts with Cyberlink. This I did. The product does not work nor have I received a refund. Both companies appear to have taken "I'll wear you down until you quit" approach.

Thanks for your report, I found that:
Cyberlink stated that PowerDirector9 made by Cyberlink does let you do this: "You can also burn your creations to CD, DVD or Blu-ray Disc (burner required). Supported output formats include VCD, DVD, SVCD and AVCHD. Yet see what I get:
1) If you can see the picture below it also states that PowerDVD 10 does Blu-Ray too, yet denies support for Blu-Ray, when you install Blu-ray Movies.
2) If you install an update, its states, its only for software for Blu-Ray, then close without installing it.
3) I get a warning, about not being connected to the internet, I am connected to the internet.

I tried every place on the internet to find software to use including WinDVD and Cyberlink PowerDVD.they did nothing good, for me too.
Corel WinDVD is the only one that shows, a 30 day money back, in print. Can I really believe that, what good is it, if its still nothing. Their reason for the trial version not working was, that I did not buy it yet.
