CyberRebate is Bogus
On 2/23/01 I placed an order for $445, received the products a few weeks later, filed the rebates and waited. After the 12 week period was up, I inquired as to where my rebates were. They replied that I didn't fill them out properly. I retorted that I had photocopies of my submission and that all was proper. Next they said that I addressed the envelope wrong as I had a misspelling in the address and thus couldn't honor the request. What bullshit. I requested to return the products, and haven't heard from then since.
Does anyone know anything about class action lawsuits? Their business plan is based upon fraud: Sell cheap products at a greatly inflated price, promise a rebate, pocket the money and fail to honor their rebate promise. From searching other sites, as well as here, I see that I'm not alone.
I have no idea on how to get my money back. My credit card company says that since I still have the products, they won't credit my account.
