cyberrebate ripoff new york Internet
cyberrebate is a rip-off I purchased over $3,000.00 in items from them to find out the products were inferior and marked up 3x the normal price. How do I know this? Some of the items I purchased still had the manufactures price on them 3x less than the price cyberrebate was charging. I packed all the junk back in the original boxes and sent the merchandise back only to get a partial refund. cyberrebate still owes me $600.00 in refunds not rebates that they refuse to give back. I have been hassleing this since christmas of 2000. I even have the UPS signed info. that cyberrebate received the junk still they continue to rip me off.

As of the Summer of 2001, cyberrebate.com filed
for bankruptcy. Once they filed for bankruptcy,
they stated on their website that returns would
not be processed and if you sent in packages,
they would not return them.
Like many other companies who go out of business,
consumers are the last to get what they are
deserved. The New York bankruptcy drafted
documents to satisfy creditors and vendors first
and then, if there is any money left over, then
pay the consumer rebates.
Most, if not all credit card companies' rules
protecting consumers do not apply to rebates not
received, just merchandise not received.
This was one of those "too good to be true" dot coms that screwed many consumers.
