My husband and I ordered 2 sets of Cybersonic toothbrushes on December 29, 2001. We ordered 2 sets b/c he is a firefighter who works 24 hour shifts so he needed one at home and one at work. Our debit card was promptly charged on Jan 2, 2002. By paying all at once we were told that we would receive an upgrade to 10-day delivery free of charge. It has now been over a month and no brushes. After reading the complaints on this site, I guess I'm really not surprised.

On Jan 18th I pulled up their website so that I could find a customer service number to call. After getting a recording that "due to the popularity of the Cybersonic for Christmas, call volume is high" and that I should "try again when volume is lowest between 6am-8am and 4pm-7pm Pacific time." I decided to try contact via email to their customer service address. I hadn't seen all of the complaints at this point, so I simply told them that I was unable to get through by phone and would like to know when I could expect my already overdue shipment. I received the following response:
Dear Cybersonic Customer,

I do apologize for any inconvenience. However, you will have to call
1-800-770-7525. Our system is not allowing us to make any changes.
Again, we do apologize.

Cybersonic Customer Service,
Operator#226

I tried to call again that night during the recommended hours - same recording. When I did finally get through the next morning, I was on hold for almost 1 1/2 hours, and was then disconnected. So much for customer service.

I just want to cancel my order. Even without seeing all of the complaints on the web, why would I want a product that relies on a shipment every 3 months when they can't even get the original shipment right?!

I have since seen reports about additional charges showing up on people's cards. I haven't received my statement for this month, but I am definitely concerned. How can a place like this still be in business? Something needs to be done!

made purchase of cybersonic toothbrush. cannot reach customer service. My cybersonic toothbrush battery has died after 3 months of use, and at 4 1/2 months recieved the replacement cybersonic brushes.

I now have to look at my credit card to check for additional charges ont the so-called free lifetime replacement brushes.

As of today I am completely dissatisfied with this experience I would like a refund immediately if not sooner.

Can anyone really help remmidiate this serious consumer rip-off. please help.

I never got my product, but I did finally get my money back. My contact was cynthiar@amdencorp.com. She originally couldn't even find my order of 2 units in the system. When she finally found it, she gave me the shipping information - WAY OFF. She offered to reship it, but I asked her to just refund my money. On March 1 she said she would refund it, and on March 6 it showed up in my account.

Try that email address - you may get what you need.
