In December of 2001 I noticed a charge for $99.95 on my Mastercard. Immediately the charge was suspect considering I hadn't used that card in nearly six months. I didn't recognize the name of the company, Cybortronik, so I immediately called my credit card company to dispute the charge.

A month later in January I received another charge of $99.95 on my Mastercard, again from Cybortronik, which I immediatly disputed. I then attempted to contact Cybortronik through the long distance phone number listed on my Mastercard statement. Instead of a living person I was answered by a voicemail service that immediately made me suspicious. I left my name, telephone number, along with a explanation of my complaint and told them to call me back. Much to my dismay I never heard back from them.

Finally in February I received a letter from my credit card company indicating that Cybortronik was contesting my dispute of their charges. Along with my personal information - name, billing address, IP address, credit card number, etc they presented a bogus user agreement claiming that agreed to the 'services' that they are charging me for. They never indicate what services they provide, nor when and through which URL I supposedly agreed to this. I then tried to contact Cybortronik via email at dispute@cybortronik.com. After two emails I still haven't heard anything.

In March I again received a charge for $99.95 on my Mastercard. Once again I called my credit card company and had that credit card account number cancelled after the third billing incident. Since then I haven't received any further charges, but the three previous charges are still in the dispute process. Cybortronik still hasn't responded to my inquiries regarding these charges. If you visit their URL at http://www.cybortronik.com you'll see that their website is perpetually under construction, which is more than a bit odd for a company supposedly in the business if providng 'internet services'.

I am convinced that Cybortronik is not a legitimate business. If anyone can provide me with more information about this scam please contact me on this report.

Thanks..
