Not much is known about this company "Cylon Corp., LLC". I have found some information on this company and will provide any and all info I have. This company has been a plague on people all across the U.S. All of the info I have was found through this site from others like you and me posting and basic web searches.

Cylon was founded in 2004. Cylon is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Cylon is a search engine pay-per-click traffic and Internet marketing company. Cylon is the sole provider of pay-per-click access to organic search results on the major search engines to corporations across the U.S. for all other inquiries, please send email to info@cyl0n.com This info provided at http://www.cyl0n.com/

Information on the company's addresses and pnone numbers are (yes there are more than one) are located on this site under contact us: http://cyloncorp.com./ I have also run across these 2 sites : http://www.digitalcyclone.com/products/mobile-my-cast/ http://www.topseos.com/jobs/cylon-llc/sr.-php-developersr.-web-developer/6109

All of these sites reveal little to no real viable information on this company. They charge 9.99 a month to your cell phone bill. As of yet there are no ways to get this to stop billing. I have called my service provider and was told only to text "stop" to 41463. I did this and only got the response "access denied". My mobile carrier (T-Mobile) has reversed all charges made by this company, but they did tell me i would have to call back each time it is on my bill to have the charges taken off. They refused to block these charges, saying it was made by a 3rd party company that I must have subscribed to.

I also have checked this company out by the B.B.B. (Better Business Bureu). There are some interesting things I have found out. Again there is not real info about this company. When you do a search by name nothing comes up. When you do a search by phone number it comes up with the phonw number and address. when you click the link to file a complaint it comes up with the following info:

Class Act Painting 32 Mill West West Babylon, NY 11704 Phone:

This is all too strange to me. One other thing I have found from someone elses post is this web address: http://info-text-alert.com/cancel/

This is a web site that promises to stop all billing from Cylon Corp, LLC. I have no idea if this site does what it claims, I have submitted my info to stop this billnig cycle, and it has promised to stop billing within 24 hours. I will ty to update if this works.

You say all of the steps below must be followed for them to bill you (see below), but this is NOT true. They lied to you. i was driving in the car not even looking at the phone, and got three texts in a row... in the span of 30 seconds. The first said enter this password for weather alerts, and seconds later, it said "thank you for your registration". I never went to any website, I never have (and never would) enter my cell phone in some unknown website, nor go back to enter some password... they are randomly texting people, then adding charges to their bill. They need to be put in jail!

supposed steps required to authorize the charge (not true):
Someone has to access a website from a home computer (weather service, video game cheats, and moany other services), the web site will tell them in order to gain access into the site they need to provide a cell phone number that has text capability.... the comapny then sends you a text with an access code, you them have to go back to your computer and type in the code to access the website you are requesting service from....

I was charged 9.99 twice before I caught it. I called ATT and asked about the charges. I very nice and helpful man told me he couldn't tell what kind of company it was but that he could remove the charges and that he could stop the subscription. He suggested that I google the company to find out about them. I found this website with all these cases. Why hasn't something been done about this company!!!

As of 02/14/09 a represenative, from this company has called me back after me leaving a message to them threatening them civil action. I was told i would recieve a check in the mail within 3 to 4 weeks for the amount charged to my cell phone bill. I was also told i would be taken off the list and my cell number would be blocked from accessing their system(thus preventing me from being charged again). The customer servicxe rep also explained a little about the way it works to be charged... so I will try to relay the information to you all as well as I can...

Someone has to access a website from a home computer (weather service, video game cheats, and moany other services), the web site will tell them in order to gain access into the site they need to provide a cell phone number that has text capability.... the comapny then sends you a text with an access code, you them have to go back to your computer and type in the code to access the website you are requesting service from.... in order to be charged there are a few steps you have to complete, but once completed... you are billed and it is a recurring charge for the service you applied for, the only way to stop it is at the time you get the very first text, you must reply a "stop" text.. that is the only time you can do this... or you have to go to the site i provided in my 1st post (((Link Redacted))). I hope this helps some of you out there... If it does, pass the information along to help others....
