Complaint Review: Cylon

Check your cell phone bill for charges on Communications Purchases or Downloads.....A company called Cylon LLC @ 1-800-331-0500 placed a charge for $9.99 on my AT&T account. I immediately phoned AT&T concerning this charge and was told it is a subscription to an internet cheat code website. I would have been charged that fee every month if I had not disputed it. What the H E double L is this??? I never use the internet on my phone, I have a computer for that purpose. I did not speak with anyone from Cylon LLC, nor did I text them. I don't even play internet games! I have better use for my time. AT&T was very understanding and stated they would cancel the subscription, but I had to pay the fee for the current billing. I had them disable my web access on each of my 3 cell phones, as I am now "paranoid" of this happening again. Isn't this the USA? Why aren't we protected from such scams?
