This company is the worst credit card processing company in the U.S. I have been in business for 20 years and used 4 or 5 processors over this time. This one is the worst. They have consistently added extra charges since I signed up with them nearly 3 years ago. $200 annual fees (PCI Compliance), here and there-- for all sorts of things they concoct just to gouge you. I cancelled my association with them in early June, 2012 over the phone. They said I needed to fax them a cancellation. I did that promptly. They said they never got it, and by June 29, 2012, I faxed them the cancellation again. I told them I was canceling due to excessive monthly and annual charges. They said nothing about an early termination fee. Now, today, they charged me an extra month of fees for July, as well as an early termination charge for less than 3 years with them. I have been with other processors and 3 years is unheard of for a "lock in". It's extraordinary and unfair to the consumer/business industry. I am a small Bed & Breakfast owner. These fees and add ons have been unbearable. Cynergy Data has been difficult to deal with since the beginning. They have the worst customer service, and they are constantly "inventing" new charges for their clients. There should have been no early cancellation charge, nor a charge for July-- which combined, amounted to $581.25. I would like them to put that amount back into my business banking account that they withdrew it from.
