Complaint Review: Cynthia Cook Agency- Mass Connections - Super Target

Cynthia Cook is one of the agencies contracted by Mass Connections. This company has the SuperTarget contract throughout the United States. This company is a discriminatory company. I was promised to be paid $70 a demo and without mentioning they shot me down to base pay of $40 a demo. And my husband has not been paid at all for his demo. A performance complaint was vocally stated by SuperTarget. On November 12th I had my husband sign an independent contract form with Mass Connections. They call 11/11/06 and woke him out of sleep asking him to do te 11 a.m. demo that day. My husband told Patrick that he would first have to shower and shave so he would be a little late. That was okay with Patrick.

I had worked at SuperTarget for a good 3 weeks, and had no complaints. My husband is African American. Just as soon as he starts working and I introduce him to the SuperTarget demo supervisor, all of a sudden we are not suitable. Reports hygiene issue which is bogus, both of us are very clean individuals and had bathed prior to coming. This was not the reasoning initially but after a few phone calls it was said to b an issue. This company will use any form of excuse to not pay you for work done.
