My husband and I were expecting our first child back in July and wanted to rip up the old carpet and get hardwood floors in our bedroom so that it would be healthier for the baby. I did some research on flooring stores and even though I had read a few negative comments I decided to go with D'Best Floorz because they had assured me that the comments had been written by their competition.

Well, they sent out and installer that showed up with his girlfriend and a friend and they ripped all the carpet. Then, they tell me they can't do the job because they had not sent a material needed called "patch". I asked of this was normal and the installer informed me that they always leave "patch" but had forgotten to do so. After going back and forth with the store they sent over the needed material and they came back and put down the "patch" which took about 5 minutes. Then they tell me that they are done and they will be back tomorrow. I agree because I have a baby at home now that is only a few days old a I need this done.

The installer comes back the next day and again brings his girlfriend, a friend and I think his little brother. They lay down the floor, damage the furniture they moved because they dropped the top of the armoire on the floor in addition to other damage and leave leaving a huge mess for me to clean. As I am cleaning the floor I notice huge gaps between the planks and that the baseboard had been damaged and pieced back together and immediately called the store.

They tell me they are going to send an inspector that finally comes two weeks later. The inspector writes down some of the damaged spots and then the initial installer shows up at my house with a tub of putty to fill in the gaps. Not acceptable- I sent him back. I call the store and they tell me that they did not even know that the installer had gone back out. They send someone else who says the floor is too damaged to fix and that it must be ripped up and replaced. They sent the inspector out AGAIN, which agreed that it must be replaced.

Long story short - my baby is 3.5 months old and I am still waiting for them to replace the floor. Every time I call I get jerked around and they don't return my calls.
