D-CARTE - Advanced Communication / (Claude Maidemberg / Claude Maidenberg) Feedback Repuation D-Carte - Unpaid Bill for Videobrochure / PLV Connectée Saint-Ouen / Paris Paris / France
We have been working with D-Carte company for long time since 2010 as being their supplier for electronics board and screen for them to integrate those parts into their POP AD / PLV Connectée / Video Brochure.
We normally required payment before shipping. However working with this client for long time we have trusted them and demosntrated flexibility to allow them to try to grow their business by allowing payment after shipment.
In 2013 after shipping goods, a bill of more than 10 000 USD was remained unpaid. We have relaunched them several time to pay this bill as they had received the goods. Relaunch after relaunch they (Claude Maidemberg , also called MaideNberg) always told us they would pay, but they never did. It seems other people have same issue (I found another people unpaid in the USA under the name Heidi here: (http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Claude-Maidenberg/internet/Claude-Maidenberg-D-Carte-D-CARTE-Videopaper-Unpaid-Wages-after-6-months-Audierne-Inte-743068).
I discovered recently that President is called Maidemberg (http://www.societe.com/societe/d-carte-515066330.html) but his name also appear time to time as Maidenberg with a "N", I suppose there is probably a fraud somewhere here.
We have contacted their shareholder Nestadio Capital to try to solve this issue in a friendly manner but they didn't give answer.
We have consulted a lawyer in Paris specialized in this kind of issue and are about to sue them if they don't contact us very quickly to solve this issue in a proper manner.
I advice to any supplier and customer to stay away this company or to tight payment to leave no room to trust whixh is is not honored by the company.
At this moment, we would today consider the company D-Carte as a bad payer

We have started to work with Mr Maidenberg Claude (Company D-Carte) in 2010 as his sourcing and buying agent after he got inspired to make a product similar of the company Americhip and to sell it as his original idea.
We have been helping him to develop his product by working with chinese companies to adapt MP4 player into his product video card and video brochure. We have worked wit him till june 2013 date where he suddenly stopped to pay his bill after we had shipped to him his goods.
In en of february beginning of march 2013, Mr Maidenberg took an order from a client and asked to produce customized batteries on a 8 days basis which is extremly short and almost impossible to do for most of the batteries supplier. Not only it require to produce the battery but also to test it. His strategy was to take order first by holding money from customer while pressing his supplier to produce according to his wish and not accoridng the production capacity. Later in his conversation he told himself that he would not take any order so short...
At this time, we have let him know this was unreasonnable to take a such contract without consulting us first for lead time purpose, in which case we would have advice him not to do so. Already making a MSDS documentation for batteries export take one month via an accredited lab, so fully incompatible with the timing Mr Maidenberg imposed to us. On this base we have let him know we don't want to take this order because the timing was too short and the operation was risky. However, by his word he said "I play the risk".
So, we have issued a purchase order which was with INCOTERM EXW (see here what is the definition of an EXW incoterms: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incoterms : buyer is responsible for shipment and to pick from the shipper site) and see the PO in attachment signed by the hand of Mr Maidenberg.
At the production time we have succeeded miraculously to produce the battery on time and the goods were put to shipment. Unfortunately at the time being neither Fedex, nor DHL could ship the goods in an Express Way (4 days) due to lack of MSDS but they could ship in Economy (6 days) only which was not satisfying Mr Maidenberg. (Please note, the Purchase Order being signed EXW by the buyer Mr Maidenberg, this was already not our responsibilities to ship those goods, but well D-Carte company to pick them up by themselves). Here people can understand that Mr Maidenberg work like an amateur without security margin on timing, playing with the money of his client.
As Mr Maidenberg didn't got enough time as buffer to receive his good he decided to buy some batteries by himself in France to complete his project. As he didn't needed right away the batteries he asked us to keep the batteries in China for another project he was suppose to get from another brand a few weeks later. Finally, his project never come. On early june we let him known that his batteries were still in our warehouse and that we would like to ship them to him because they don't belong to us. He never wanted to get them
Without saying anything about anything about this batteries issues, he kept asking us to deliver some goods to him until july 2013 date of the last shipment where he was again in rush for a project and was asking us "please don't block my goods, you will receive payment anyway". At this date was the last order and we never received payment.
A few months later, he pretended he needed to talk his investor telling us his investor put an accountant to manage his payment. He told us his accountant run away with the token of his bank account so it was the reason why he could not perform payment.
After several weeks in july 2013 he invoked to avoid payment about the batteries that was not delivered to him whereas he was the one to ask to keep them in China.
Now, here a bit more about the people:
- Mr Maidenberg and his company are currently on a law suit in courthouse of Paris against another supplier which he also owe money too, utilising the same strategy
- Inspite of a high registered capital, there is probably high chances that his cash flow and free cash flow to be extremly low
- Here see the report of another people which seemed to have worked with Mr Maidenberg before us : http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Claude-Maidenberg/internet/Claude-Maidenberg-D-Carte-D-CARTE-Videopaper-Unpaid-Wages-after-6-months-Audierne-Inte-743068
- We have also other people in France who are also complaining his way to make business...

Before insulting people, it's better to verify informations.
The situation is very simple.
We ordered batteries, pre-paid, as usual, for 12,000 USD. Never delivered. Advanced Asia Sourcing (A.A.S.) still have our batteries in China, two years after we ordered.
We had to buy very expensive batteries in Europ to satisfy our client.
This is the real story.
We worked only few months with Advanced Asia Sourcing (A.A.S.), and specially Christopher Oliva, unable to deliver our orders.
We had to stop our cooperation with this Company, too dangerous for our start-up.
Take care.
