D&D Mechanical Absolutely Unprofessional, Rude, Unsatisfactory Behavior Salt Lake City Utah
D&D Mechanical was assigned to repair/replace the furnace at my place of residence by the homeowner's insurance company with which the homeowners have a contract. They have been extremely rude in all of our dealings with them on the phone, have not responded to phone calls regarding the status of our work order, have not called when they said they would, have been hours late for their scheduled appointments with us, and last Friday, when they were scheduled to install the new furnace they claim we need, they left it half installed in our kitchen, did not properly dispose of the old furnace (left it in our backyard), and told me they'd have to have a "special box" built to prop the furnace up on, which would take another indeterminate amount of time (for which they were completely unapologetic). It has been thirty days since our original claim was filed with the homeowner's insurance place, and we still don't have heat. It is now freezing cold at night, and we are at the end or our rope. In my opinion, this contractor should lose their license, they are so completely unprofessional and ridiculous. I have filed as many official complaints as possible. Stay away from these people at all costs. If your homeowner's insurance place assigns them to you, I STRONGLY recommend you ask for a different contractor in the beginning.
