Complaint Review: D&D Transportation Services

D&D Transportation Services Steal, Lie and Cheat, FORCED runs legal or illeagle Gooding, Idaho

As a former employer of D&D they lied to me on just about every chance they had. The philosophy they do business by is say what ever gets you to leave or hang up thinking it will be ok.

Rip Offs they do provide transflo in the trucks along with GPS devices However you pay them to send in there bills that THEY MANDATE be sent in with in 24hrs of delivery on a per page basis. They also charge you for the GPS that isinstalled in the trucks by THEM. All cash advances are $6. to recieve no matter the reason. When you quit they will bill ALL drivers and this has happened literly to EVERY driver that worked there in the 6 months I was there when I left I had over $1200. in trip money owed to me that they ended up billing me for routine truck problems that existed when I was assigned to the truck and wrote up before I even took a trip in it so of the $1200. owed they had the audacity to bill me another $142. for the repairs on a truck they traded in. They simply stick it to you at every chance they are truly the meaning of nickle and dime you to the poor house.

Running Illeagle Bill Piper will FORCE you to run to save a load they overbooked on and cant make customer service on and if you refuse he will screw you everyway he can. He is the OPS manager all he is a puppet for Calvin Kunze and Jennifer Graves what ever they say he does. When you call for after hours help if he is on call he is ALWAYS drunk and stumbles through the help if you get it. Again he will lie to you every time he speaks and will do as calvin Jennifer tell him cause not only do they own the company the own him!

The list could continue for way too much six months enough to see every chicken crap way of doing business you can. I can't say enough or strongly enough drivers don't waste your hard work there. Customers you all have heard the excuses they give you maybe this will be some insight on why they lie to you daily.

STAY AWAY!

My expereince working with Mark and the rest of the crew there at D&D has been quite nice!

I offer perks for drivers to trucking companies and it is a huge committment for the fleets to take on. From the first meeting with me and moving forward their entire dialog has focused on the comfort an well-being of their drivers. This report really surprises me and is contradictory to my experience with them. I wish there was a way to fact check the posts made here...

#5UPDATE EX-employee responds

Fri, January 08, 2016

I was employed by d & d from 02-2015 to 07-2015. I left due to injurie's.

D & D was very fair with me. I got sick in april, and was unable to drive

for about 4 day's. D & D repowered the load and when i was able to drive,

loaded me and got me running agian. As for the charges for transflow and comcheck,

that was explained in oriantation,if you were paying attention, you would have known this.

I wish i could have found D & D 20 year's sooner,my driving career would have been a lot more pleasnt.

I am thankful for my time their. Also by the way, they never made me run illegal, if i was running late, they would reschedule

my delivery!

I would like to respond to the complaint that has been filed

by a disgruntled employee

D&D Transportation is in the transportation business we

have to follow the regulation mandated by the federal highway administration.

In order to do this we have all of our equipment fitted with Qual Comm GPS

tracking and electronic recorders for hours of service for driving and time

spent on duty. We send all dispatches and instructions to the drivers via the

in truck Qual Comm computer system. So for someone saying we lie to them is

totally false as all commutation is in writing via Qual Comm computer system.

In response to the Rip offs, with us mandating paper work

back to us in 24 hours, it is true that we require drivers to send in their

trip envelopes and paperwork within 24 hours of delivery, however, this is not

any kind of Rip Off, we provide trip envelopes to drivers, and services through

TripPak to the driver free of charge. This is free of charge to the drivers.

There is no Rip Off. We do have the other options the drivers can use, to

expedite their paperwork to the office to meet cutoff, such as trip pack

scanning at truck stops for the drivers and there is a charge for this service

that is charged to the driver but this is strictly for the drivers benefit in

order to get paid quicker. This is not a company requirement, but a service

that is offered to the driver. We must have the paper work in the office before

we can process his payroll.

Response to Driver advances complaint. Advances for loading

or unloading the truck or repairs, tolls, washing of the truck, weight tickets

and all truck expenses are paid by Company at no charge to the driver . We do

charge for personal advances to the driver as there is an expense for sending

money via wire transactions and yes this is 6.50 per transaction. This type of

advance is for personal use and is an advance on his payroll not earned yet.

Driver should have his own money for meals and etc. and should not take

personal advances.

Response to running or dispatched illegally is total false.

D&D runs electronic recorder in our truck in order for the diver to see how

many hours they have ran and have to go before they have to sop driving. The

hour of service that a driver can drive is mandated by the Federal Highway

Safety Admission. All drivers are required to obey the law at all times. So for

a driver saying he was forced to driver over or illegally is false as D&D

is liable for fines of up to 10000.00 per incident.

Response to afterhours calls to dispatcher, employees and

their behavior. I will not go there on other employees their do their job very well.

As for the 1200.00 that this employ says we owe him or her. I would request they contact the Idaho department of labor at 420 Falls Avenue Twin Falls, ID 83301-3320Phone:(208) 735-2500 Fax: (208) 736-3007
