Steve from Dackiw-Boyn L.L.C is one of the most angry hate filled person we have ever encountered and he stole our security deposit. We rented his place up in Boyne and it was dirty to say the least. The deck was covered in beer and ashes and the carpet was so dirty that our 1.5 year olds clothes were dirty after crawling on the carpet for 15 minutes.
I scrubbed the deck for them, cleaned out the hair from both of the bathtubs and was ready to have a great vacation. We rented from them for one week and on the third day our 4.5 year old daughter tried to open the sliding door to the pantry and it came off the hinges and landed the floor and hit the refrigerator and put a small dent in the door.
The hinges were not broken, the sliding door was not broken but it was worn and came off the tracks and almost injured my daughter.
We cleaned the place before we left, met with the cleaning staff who informed us that the door comes off the hinge often and that they would fix it. They also thanked us for cleaning the condo for them.
Steve the anger filled maniac called us on our way home to talk about the massive damage to his condo and while he was choking on his own words from screaming proceeded to tell us that we left the beds un made and that our children who played in a fort up stairs under the covers was againts the rules. This guy is completely nuts and you should avoid renting from him.

If you read his complaint does it make sense that any place would have been that bad? Would anyone have scrubbed the deck or did any maintenance like he claims to have done? We've had 160 rentals the last 4 years and only had 3 issues with disrepectful customers; pretty good track record (1.8% poor clientele). Most of my customers are good folks and if you read their ratings on our website they're happy. The cost of the repair was more than the damage deposit so I withheld the whole amount. I'm proud of the condo and feel it's as good as any one up there. By the way he didn't use his real name, and threatended us with potential legal action because he claimed that his WIFE was injured by the door, not his daughter "almost" injured as mentioned in his complaint.

Steve Dackiw is a genuine and kind man. He has owned thatcondo for about 4 years now and never has he had as disrespectful customer likeyou he takes pride in his condo and does a very good job maintaining it. He has a wonderful cleaning lady and I have never had a complaint about the unit.
It has a beautiful view and a beautiful set up. Steve has done a great job setting up his condo and I encourage everyone to disregard this mans statement. Heobviously has anger issues of his own.
