Daewoo Electronics Unfair consumer treatment, warrenty woes Lyndhurst New Jersey
I have been trying to get Daewoo to fix my tv since Jan2006. The screen goes blank & I get lines of color through the screen.
They fixed it & returned it and now it's doing the same thing ,but now they want me to pay $50.00 to have it fixed!
It is the same problem as the first time so why should I have to pay?
They claim that my warrenty is over. Yeah it's over because the company takes sooooo long to return calls!
I have even written to consumer affairs in my county. They said that the warrenty is up & daewoo has a right to charge!
Now I contacted the headquarters in Korea! Let's see what that gets me. But I'm glad to see that I'm not alone. I do take comfort that it's not me but the company overall.
