We spent $55,000 on a DAIKIN air conditioning system.  Three years later, two of the units developed leaks in the coils.  Each one was $1500 to repair.  Then one developed another leak, but in a different place. Another $1500 to repair.  I phoned Daikin Customer Support and was told they could do nothing but to call the local distributor, Goodman Distribution.

Then found that Goodwin DOES NOT TAKE CALLS from the public. Shell Game. Back to Daikin and was retold, "nothing they can do," call the distributor. Finally got the repair man to contact Goodman and were were told "to take a hike."   Summary: Daikin Equipment is crap. They do not help with repair. They could care less.
