Discount designer clothing site lost shoes I returned to them because they were a full size smaller than ordered (using supplied shipping return labels and original shipping box) and therefore did not credit me for the item returned for 3 months. 

A complaint via phone resulted in a manager agreeing to return (delayed) credit to my credit card instead of it remaining as store (site) credit.

Four months later credit had not been issued and a follow-up call (lasting close to an hour because I was put on hold so long awaiting a manager) resulted in speaking to a customer service manager who told me it didn't matter what I was told previously.  They had no record of one of their representatives promising me credit back on my card, and they were not going to honor the prior promise. 

I wrote a complaint letter (name of President and CEO were refused by Cust. Svc. Mgr) to a post office box address I was given.  I received a phone msg. and an email from the complaints dept. several weeks after having sent the letter saying they would try to return the credit to my card.  The representative said she needed to check into what she could do and get back to me.  That was over 2 weeks ago, and I've heard nothing.

The merchandise sold by this site is very high end.  The service has been exactly counter to what purveyors of high-end products typically provide.
