I recieved a call from Chrysler stating that I was past due on my account. I told them that that was impossible since I pay my account 2 weeks before the due date. They explained that Overseas Military Car Sales accidentally sent them two payments for the credit life insurance and that they took it back from Chrysler. I asked why haven't I recieved documentation on this, and I could not get a clear annswer. I was told that someone would call back. The lady called back and explained that there was an overpayment of the credit life insurance by the car sales people and since they had taken the money back, it left me delinquent. She also stated that it was automatically reported to the credit reporting agencies and that she would send a note to clear it up. I paid the questionable amount in order to save my credit and to prevent additional late charges, still not knowing exactly what happened. All I know is that it still does not add up. I still have not recieved any information in writing pertaining to this charge by either company. I feel helpless and I feel that I have been taken. If anyone have any advise as to how to pursue this, it would be greatly appreciated.
