This company is despicable. Dalcor milks properties then sells them. They do little or absolutely no maintenance and when the maintenance isn't done or if they are to cheap to pay for it they will lie about work being done.
Dalcor trains their property managers to lie about any and every thing. All they care about is themselves and the money that they are collecting form their properties. This company has several properties with hazardous infestations and safety code violations.
Not only are you unsafe outside but inside as well. Rodents do bite!Don't dare and try to contact the corporate office In Plano Texas, their receptionist will lie and say that EVERYONE is in meetings.(Give me a break)
If any of Dalcors employees were to view this report, they wouldn't care about what is being said. Dalcor employees know that this report is 110% TRUE!
If you see a Dalor property sign or view a property that is owned by Dalcor... RUN, don't walk to the nearest exit.
Dalcor is like a vampire.. they will suck you dry and leave you for dead. They honestly don't care about their residents and that is a fact

I'm saddened to hear such anger in the complaints against Dalcor. No one is perfect. I know Dale Dodson personally and his family and am heartbroken at such ugly, judgmental claims about a person and his family's character based on hearsay and personal opinions.
There are always two sides to a story and I want to share my side. The Dodson's are the most caring, kind-hearted, generous people I know. And yes, they are an extremely godly family who loves the Lord Jesus Christ. I don't beleive any derogatory comments made about the Dodson's or how they run their company.
My suggestion is that everyone calm down, humble themselves and admit that they had done some things that hurt their situation. Perhaps it's the hostile, unkind and defamatory way you evently express yourself. No situation is ever resolved by finger pointed and hostility. I suggest all of you examine yourselves, your lives and what's in your heart before you try to judge another person by one biased experience you've had.
May the Lord give you wisdom and peace.

ya i was here when they reported the bat incident and the guy lived right behind us and over a building. scary that it flew into his bathroom.. that news crew was here till like 11 that night.. the bats are still here! DALACOR hasnt done S**T! YET and that was like over a year ago! well i dont care anymore we are outta here. THANK GOD!!
i would love to see the owner of this place stay a week .. like he would even stay 5 min if that!! LOL! with his Billion dollar mansion. he definately is not a man of GOD! he is a J O K E !! and so is his FAMILY! if his wife backs him on things she is just as bad as him and so are his kids! i dont care how old they are!
anyone who backs someone who doesnt care about wellfare of others and health of their children doesnt even deserve to be on this planet. i hope he gets whats coming to him .. as well as Randy PITTS!LOL! whatever...

Anyone who reads this report must take note. The proof is in the pudding. Randy responded after he was insulted and that is probably the only reason he responded.
As far as the bat infestation, take a look outside at dusk unlike a ghost town you WILL be greeted by many flying rodents. If you aren't satisfied with an outside greeting simply take a listening inside the WALLS of your apartment! And if that still isn't a good enough greeting maybe you will receive a visit inside your apartment home from the flying rodents. Check the reports and you will find that others have received such greetings. After all the bats live here as well. Except they live here for free, while you are paying monthly to deminish you and your family's health and well being.
This company has made the first promise to everyone who holds a lease with them. The promise is that they would mantain the property. According to the attorney general of Texas by renting out such property a landlord has garunteed your safety. ie. unhealthy infestations, maintaining the property grounds, and keeping properties up to code.
Just look at the companies track record Bay place apts has been on the news channel 13, Sheffield Square channel 11. They were kicked of off the bbb etc etc
Take this as your warning this company is not honest and the properties speak for it themselves.

This particular apartment community is heavily wooded. Bats took up residents during the summer. We responded by hiring professional animal control experts and spent several thousand dollars eliminating the problem.
The complainant signed a one year lease and chose to vacate their apartment without notice well before the end of their lease. We charged them for damages and accelerated rent.
The complainant appealed to the Resident Relations and Ethics Committee of the Houston Apartment Association. The Committee's finding was to eliminate some undocumented damage charges, but the accelerated rent and documented damage charges remain.
Now the complainant wants us to ignore the contract and promise they made to us; as we have not done so, their chosen avenue is libelous commentary, tantamount to terrorism.
Some resident complaints are valid and some are not; this one is not.
