Dalcor Properties, Dover Pointe Dalcor, Dalcor Management, Dalcor Realty, A Landlord and Rental Property to be avoided Ripoff Houston Texas
I have lived on 2 Dalcor Properties, at first I would have told you that Delcor is a great property, but now I think other wise. I am a person who spends the majority of my time at work so I really don't pay attention to what is going on at the apartment. When I moved out of the first apartment I was told that I did not owe any money and that everything was ok, but 2 months later I received a letter stating that I had a $300 dollar balance. I moved in a town home apartment managed by Dalcor, this apartment had a hole from the bathroom into my dinning room, and one day water from the top floor ran into my sons baby chair, I did not know what to do and I complained but nothing was ever done. Secondly my porch fence was falling apart, nails where sticking out from every direction. Every time my children wanted to play outside I had to keep telling them to stay away from the fence, I was promised it would be fixed and after one year it is still the same. Finally, so that the same thing would not happen to me from the first apartment I asked the manager to do a walk through with me and she stated that everything looked fine to her, the only thing that she saw a problem with was ONE stain in the carpet and that might cost me $85 dollars to fix, Last week when I walked by they changed the carpet and she told me that they will not change the carpet before they lease to another tenant, so I would have to pay the 85 dollars.
For the year that I had the lease with Dalcor, there has been 3 going on 4 managers, no communication or direction.
