My husband has been a trash man/porter here beginning February 2005.

During the month of August the manager quit, Cheryl Vasquez.

One week later her leasing agent also quit, Laura.

On August 29, Shirley the new manager started. We asked her and also informed her, regarding our rent what was do if any. We paid the entire rent for the month of Aug. The month of July was paid, which also included 2 weeks of compensation for that month.

Shirley stated she did not know where the previous manager put the timesheets, and they could not be found. This was the 1st week of Sept.

We knew that the total rent was paid for August without any compensation taken from it. Rent paid in Aug was $945.00.

Shirley, did not know what to credit us at the beginning of Sept. By the end of Sept from our calculations, we did not owe for the month of Sept, due to the amount of hours my husband worked. A total of 6 weeks. But Shirley never disputed this, until we asked about the amount due for October.

She said the rent owed $375.00. We assumed that she had figured everything out. Then to find out a few hours later after we paid the rent, she told my husband that was for Sept. and she would not credit us money's for anything she had no proof of.

I myself told her to pull up all the months on the rent log and it would show her our average rent. She said no, she wanted the timesheets, and she was not going to pay him for those 6 weeks. But she would keep looking, but to my knowledge she has not done this yet.

Last week I called her on this again, along with several other issues. She told me she was not going to give him the credit and because she could not find the timesheets, and she did not want to hear anything more about it. My husband went into the office and she told him that if he or I mentioned one more time anything regarding those hours he would be fired.

I am sure now that it almost November she is going to want $1200 or more, this is a rip-off.

I do not work anymore do to the fact that I have Secondary Progressive MS. Currently I am still awaiting Social Security Disability which I applied for at the end of last year.

Our family can't afford to loose this income.

The other problem is that this Complex REFUSES to put in a wheelchair ramp for me. I do have an electric wheelchair that has been prescribed by my doctor. I worry about getting out in case of a fire. I feel like a caged animal. This place has serious electrical problems that are not being corrected. I here humming sounds from most appliances, TV's, telephones, anything that is plugged into an outlet including a heavy duty serge protector in my sons bedroom.

In one weeks time my television went out and my washing machine.

The funny thing is they where both purchased at the exact same time. ( washing machine Kenmore that I paid over $550.00 1996. TV 35 inch RCA $899 both bought in March of 1997)

I would love someone to help with these issues. My husband does not deserve to work for free, he works two jobs and is never home as it is. He would quit if we didn't need the money.

The worst part is it makes me feel guilty for having MS, and this is wrong.

We have not refused to build a wheelchair ramp. While we are aware of the applicable Federal and State statutes, you presented them to us; pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and the Texas Accessibility Standards (YAS) we are required to make modifications to your apartment or to the exterior or common areas for parking and/or access purposes at your expense. First of all I am so sorry for what Dalcor did to you and your family.
I met The owner of Dalcor when I first started he came out to the property he was driving a brand new convertable red Lexus. It was really weird normaly the Assistant manager does the Books but the main guy would always come pick up the rent? i was told since they do things manualy at the property. They do the books at the corp office.

When I started having my problems with them not paying me I called and left one message after another to the owner and he never returned my phone calls. I did not know if you had Dalcor's Corporate address it is 5055 West Park Blvd #702 Addison Tx 75001 and that number is 972-769-2002 and thier fax number is 972-769-2004 I hope that helps

I am willing to be an advocate for this Property. Why should we continue to be treated like 3rd class citizens. We need to be treated fairly, with respect and consideration.

Our family's should not have to live like this.

Please feel free to call me at anytime I want to do something, but we all have to work together.

One person cannot stand alone. If we join forces we can get things done.

Our kids should be able to play outside. We should not be afraid of men peeping in our windows. Management should want to keep their property safe.
