We hired Dale Griffith (aka D D Griffith)  to replace a roof at a rental property where the tenant had reported a leak.  We paid in full Dale immediately after he said the job was completed.  A few days later it started to rain, and the tenant reported many leaks with water coming through the ceiling.

We asked Dale to fix the roof that he had replaced and honor his workman's warranty.  However Dale refused, walked away from the job, and stopping responding to messages.  Upon further inspection by several other roofers we were told that the work Dale had done was completely faulty and the work had to be redone.  We had to spend another $3700 to have it done.

We contacted the insurance company that Dale had provided us for the job.  Unfortunately, we were told that the insurance document given to us was fraudulently created and there was actually no insurance policy that would cover the damages.

We investigated suing Dale Griffith to recover the damages, however he does not use a bank account, and we believe that there are already other judgments against him which haven't been recovered.

As such, we have taken a total loss on the money paid to him, and would caution anyone else of this.

Humm, where to begin,,, Mr Chris Mac, New York based home invester,,, Its always ashame to encounter that one unreasonable, inexperienced wanting something for nothing client but obviously we got one.

Soo in regards to Mr Macs "complaint" with Biltmore property roof Mr Mac was forewarned with initial bidding process of roofs needs were TOTAL roof replacement,,, No he just wanted a patch job, which he had gotten, thus no written warranty. Pics provided.

After returning to roof after still leaking, upon our investigations (twice) it was discovered the gutter boards where rotten, gutters to low at point which was causing leak,,, again Mr Mac too cheap to invest any more money.

On a note, this was the second of five homes we roofed and remodeled for this client, and then fired as a client,,, just too difficult to deal with, so Craiglist job seekers beware, Mr Chris Mac (and wife Rhidhi) advertise for contractors...
