Dallas Autos Direct directautosdallas.com Dallas Autos Direct Sold Me a Wrecked Car with Over $24,000 in Damage without Reporting It! Carrollton Texas

I bought a nice car from Dallas Autos Direct.

They showed me a clean clear title, claimed it had no wrecks and no fender benders.

I put my deposit & ran my own carfax.  It came back clean and clear.  Perfect record.

>>>Six months later, the carfax changed.  It shows over $24,000 in damages that were done under this dealership.   (during their time of ownership based on the car fax record)

>>>On top of that, they switched out my tires.  When I called them about it - they did nothing and blamed Discount Tire.

>>>THEN when I called them about this, the guy said I had no case because they do not have to report anything because they are a used dealership.  NOTHING ELSE!

They make you sign a "as is" paper to take care of any future problems.

The problem is they committed fraud by not disclosing the wreck, the repairs $24,000, and stating that they didn't know.  When I was on the phone, they admitted to knowing about damage to the vehicle.  I also have proof of the tire switchout with before and after pictures.

WHEN I told them they should buy the car back, the guy said that GUYS like me got beat up in school... I said - are you threatening me because I'm 250 I can kick all your asses and NOBODY had the balls to fix this problem in person when I came down.

No I'm filing a police report & sueing.  I'm done with this company - you've also been warned about the fraud & wrecked cars that they buy at auction and scam you out of buying.

I'm so sorry that you fell victim to this scam.

The BBB is bought and paid for and have absolutely NO POWER and NO AUTHORITY in prosecuting or getting anything done.  The BBB is a scam in itself founded by the MOB in order to intimidate businesses to give them money.  They still charge a yearly fee in exchange for favorable ratings.

Dallas Direct Autos - they do most of their repair work in Oklahoma.  That way - when they register the title in Texas - the repairs are not reported and carfax history reports are clean and clear.

Six months later - I'm not sure how this happens - but the repairs FINALLY get listed on the title.

So you buy a Carfax which comes with a warranty - that says - if you find a structural damage that they missed, then they will buy the car back.

However,

When you go to collect - they make you pass three tests in order to sue:

>>>first, they say - their buy back warranty excludes WRECKS that they missed.  LOL

WHAT?

That's what a warranty is - IF YOU MISS SOMETHING - I know that I'm protected.   That is a very clever exclusion.  Right?  (definitely deceptive)

BUT they went and added another one:

The state has to mark the title -

So if you have one and two - then you have a case for the buy back warranty.  What a scam from Carfax.

I found all this info out - because of Dallas Auto Direct selling me a car with $25,000 worth of damage. Very strange!!

Step 3:  SUE

You can easily place a lawsuit, file complaints - big deal.   You signed an "AS-IS' no warranty agreement.

So....

An attorney can win this case...

BUT they charge 33% of whatever you win... which is 2 and half times the judgement.  Something like that.  So let's say you win, let's say you get paid...

You just won a $30,000 judgement or whatever the case is...  The fact that you have a loan on the car & attorney fees.  You'd still be in the hole.

IF YOU WIN:

They won't pay - so you take it further - and put a lien on their property - and force them to pay

I feel your pain. Currently working to get them removed from USAA Car buying service and filing complaints with BBB , DMV, etc. Thank you for taking the time to post and warn possible future customers. I wish I'd seen it before I bought my car there that's currently dead in my driveway.
