01 April 2006 bought a new car, 15 April upon arriving home from a short trip to the grocery store, the 2006 PT Cruiser purchased on 01 April, began to leak red fluid on the driveway. Immediately called the salesman who told me to go to the autoparts store buy coolant put in the car and drive to the dealership on Monday which would be 17 April. The car didn't leak again until after it was loaded on the trailer to tow.

I tried to do this but the car was running to hot and I returned back home. Called the dealership explained the problem and was told to call roadside assistance to tow the car to the dealer. They gave me a rental car and I went away expecting everything to be taken care of.

I received a call from service telling me there was a small hole in the radiator and it would have to be replaced. I was also told there might be leaking from the power steering but wouldn't know till the radiator problem was taken care of. He told me there was considerable damage to the underneath of the car to indicate it had been wrecked and that warranty will not cover a wrecked vehicle. I was in shock, how did it get wrecked?

The next day I talked with the GM who told me he is 100% sure the leak from the radiator couldn't have happened on his lot because there wan't any fluid on the lot and there was extensive damage now to the exterior right fendor of the car. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

The next I heard, they wanted to remove the head gasket because they believe there is damage to the engine because of it running so hot.

Two weeks after buying a brand new car from Dallas Dodge in Dallas Texas they are telling me the vehicle is wrecked and I did not wreck it. I want my money back!!!

Ok, so yes or no.. Is there 'extensive damage to the exterior right front' of the vehicle?

Forget about extensive.. is there ANY damage?

Don't care if you're a widower or a self made millionaire.. A warranty covers manufacturing defects.. Not damage caused by an accident or other means. That's what your auto insurance is for.

Don't know about Texas, but here you are required to carry full coverage on an automobile that is being financed. So whether you were in an at-fault accident, or ran into a streetlight.. Insurance covers that.. Not a warranty.
