I live in Gainesville, Florida. I had an accident at the end of January '01, and I brought my car to DaMar Paints & Body because that's what Madza suggested for excellent repair. I knew nothing about car, so I trusted what Madza suggested.

I brought my car to DaMar and sign the paper for them to start ordering parts about 2nd week of February. The inspection of fixing my car is $5700.00. The manager told me that I would get my car back in about 1 month. Then, one month passed, and I can't get your car back. The manager doesn't even bother to call and let me know in advanced. And, one day, after a few months wait, I called them again and ask them how was my car. The manager told you that they accidentally set my car on fire, and it's going to take even longer to fix my car. Even though they offer to pay to repair everything, which they should, they didn't even bother to let me know as soon as this incident happened. I'd waited and waited. Finally, after almost 5 months, I got your car back.

However, as soon as I got your car back, you found some mistakes that the shop did. Even the manager told me not to worry, I can always come back and redo it. I found more mistakes as I drove each and every day.

Finally, this friend of mine who couldn't stand seeing me upset like this and told me a very responsible auto shop that I can go to, and the auto shop's owner offer to take a look at my car. After the first look, he told me that because the poor job the first auto shop did, they'll need more time to inspect the car. So, I brought my car back for another day's inspection. It turns out that I'll have to spend another $3200.00 to fix my car back to what it used to be. I called your insurance company and let them know the whole thing.

My insurance company's agent is very understanding. She told me that she'd understand what I've been through. She said that she wouldn't want to go back to that auto shop for them to redo her car. And she said that I can choose other auto shop if I want to. However, this DaMar's manager told me that there's NO way that I can take my car to other shop than theirs. I would NEVER NEVER want to bring my car back to that auto shop. And now I am waiting for the insurance company to make the decision.

If it is your car that was brought in, why do you refer to it as: Finally, after almost 5 months, I got your car back? Why is the car referred to in such a manner? Is it a mistake, or do you not know English grammar? It should be when I got my car back.Just curious. If you want others to listen to you, and take you seriously, then take the time to make sure you read and understand what it is you have written.
