Dan Nunez has been a problem since the beginning. He first showed up at our shop knowing we were closed on the weekend doing some after hours work and wanted to talk about Dyno work. Dyno work that he never intended on following through with mind you. So doing the right thing I told him about the advantages of the Dyno and gave him a tour of our facilities while leaving behind other tasks that need to be completed to do this.

After upwards of 45 minutes of listening to him boast and brag on his knowledge of his car and the performance it had I setup a Dyno appointment for the following Wednesday at 9:30 in the morning. This all occured on a Saturday. At this point he assured me he would keep his agreement and come to thedyno sessionand gave me all of his information.

Than he asked to use our restroom all while standing directly in front of a sign that stated NO PUBLIC RESTROOM! Don't ask, yes we hold it! Normally we do hold it but in this case I decided to allow him to use it only because he was coming back to use our Dyno facility. I showed him to the restroom that is housed in the Dyno side of the building and directed him towards it. After they left I noticed he had tracked mud all around the bathroom and the Dyno building and left trash on one of our work tables. Excusable but inconvienient.

I told him I would give him a call on Monday to discuss the details of the appointment. When monday came around one of the other employees in the shop tried to call him and didn't reach him but left a voicemal. He never returned our call so later that day I called and he answered the phone. He said he had to fix an oxygen sensor on his car before he came but never said he wasn't coming. At this point he began comparing the price he paid for a part on his car to what we charged to Dyno tune...It was nonsense and irrelavent. We ended that phone conversation with if his oxygen sensor was replaced he was coming.

On TuesdayJason, the owner of the business, was making a follow up phone call to see what his plans were. From the very beginning he was irate and rude. At one point he called me a liar saying he had called and definitively cancelled and had doneso on Tuesday morning. It was all lies just like his commitment to come to the Dyno appointment. He then told my boss that I need to be fired immediatly. An employee that works extra on weekends showing unreliable customers the facility and making follow up phone calls like was told to the customer doesnt sound like an employee that needs to be fired to me.
