Complaint Review: Dana Point Shell

We took two separate automobiles into Dana Point Shell on PCH in Dana Point for a simple Oil Change. On both occasions we were called by the owner (John) and told that we needed new breaks, radiator flush, and transmission fluid was burnt.

We declined the service and took the automobiles to the dealer to verify this claim by Dana Point Shell. In both cases the work was not necessary and could have cost our family thousands of dollars.

The time span from the first car and the second car was only three weeks. The manager was called after the first time and we were told he fired the mechanic. Then the second occurrence occurred in our total disbelief.

We caution anyone going to Shell for automotive repairs.
