I saw a vehicle on Danene Motors' websie that I was interested in buying.  According to their website, they are located in San Antonio, Texas.  David Lopez, the salesman, faxed me the CAR FAX, their Texas Business Authorization, and a contract.  He told me that if I wanted to buy it, I would have to send 50% of the purchase price by wiring the funds to their bank.

I wired $12,500+ to the Bank of America account in the name of Edward Jaroslav on June 4, 2012, and the car was to be delivered on June 10.  I was to pay the balance due to the truck driver at the time of delivery per the contract.

When the vehicle was not delivered, I tried many times to call the two phone numbers for the salesman and the business and the phones rang, there was a beep and no answer.  I have also sent several emails which have gone unanswered. This is an internet car scam!!!! If it sounds too good to be true, IT IS!!!

SCAMERICA POEM

Come to Scamerica
Have a wonderful life
Get married and have children
Then cheat on your wife.

Be a lawyer or a banker
Defraud people each day
Get a paycheck and a bonus
Then be on your merry way.

SCAMERICA is rotten
SCAMERICA is broke
Controlled by corrupt people
Almost all are a JOKE!

Guess this poem is over
The USA's sinking- it's true
A 'S'inking 'C'orrupt country
No longer for me and for you.

End.

The above poem was originally submitted at this website on May 22, 2010. It appears as 'Consumer Comment #19' at Ripoff Report #603724. Just type in 603724 at this site and that should take you to Ripoff Report #603724, along with several other Reports.

Feel free to put an 'S' and a 'C' in front of America.

Thank You

WELCOME TO SCAMERICA- ONE BIG 'SCAM' THAT IS ULTIMATELY BEING CONTROLLED BY A CARTEL OF CORRUPT, GREEDY, AND INEPT BANKERS AND THE WORTHLESS POLITICIANS WHO SERVE AND PROTECT THEM

I don't need someone to bite my head off.  Believe me I've already beat myself up enough over getting caught up in buying a vehicle over the internet to save some money.

I'm not trying to get anyone to feel sorry for me.  I am merely trying to get the word out there that this is what happened to me and this is how it came down.  When we Googled Danene Motors there were NO negative comments that came up.  If there had been even one negative comment, I would not have wired the money.

I checked Angie's List and Better Business Bureau and they didn't have any comments  about Danene Motors.  Either people don't take the time to report crooks like this or they had recently changed their business name on their website.

And I don't appreciate you questioning whether it was a scam.  They have my money and I don' t have a vehicle--THAT'S a SCAM, FRAUD or whatever else you want to call it!!

Was it a scam? Whether or not it was a scam, YOU went along with it by throwing common sense out the window to buy a stupid used car without knowing it actually exists, without knowing its lein status, without knowing what the physical appearance is, without knowing if all the accessories work, without knowing how it drives and without knowing its true mechanical condition based on an assesment by your own mechanic! Where do you people come up with these ridiculous ideas? So I guess you expect everybody to feel sorry for you, right? You put your head out there to be chopped off. They were just waiting for somebody to scam. You gave them exactly what they wanted...no questions asked. Maybe some here will stroke you, pat you on the head and tell you exactly what you want to hear. But the bottom line is you VOLUNTEERED to be scammed by going ahead with such a nonsensical transaction. Oh, P. T. Barnum? He said, "A sucker is born every minute!"
