Dania Beach Boat Club Dania Beach Marina Corporation South Floridas WORST non-luxury dry storage facility and marina! Dania Beach, Florida
I have waited most of my adult life and worked very hard to
move to South Florida. I finally made it
there early May 2012. What was supposed
to be a move of the lifetime turned out the have a very bad situation. I was told about Dania Beach Boat Club from a
referral of my Agent. For the time being
I will not name the several people involved in the bad situation giving them a
few days to fix it. I was told that the
are the best and fairest dry storage in the South Florida and that everyone is
family there, well some family, first they charged me $875 a month and one of
their member told me that that was outrageous and he would talk to them for
me. I call the storage next to them and
found out that it was outrageous and the dropped the price to $500 after a 5
minute conversation. Why not just give
the real and fair price from the start with.
Because I was new to the area and have a very expensive boat I think
they saw me coming and was trying to make extra money from the new guy. Because of the boat being one of the biggest
and most expensive boat they have, I was that only one person there will be
allowed to forklift the boat. After 4 times of boating and over $500 in tips to
their staff, I showed up on Sunday to go boating a found them using a new guy
to launch the boat, I questioned them on that and was told that he is better
than the normal guy and everything will be fine. Well it was not fine and they broke my K-Planes. I was then told they would pay for the
repairs. I sent it to the local dealer
to be fixed and send them the bill and now they refused to pay. Stay tuned for more info.

I received an email for the Office Manager today saying they will be charging my credit card a pro-rated amount for storage after they promised to pay for the repair and never did. I am so happy that i used my Chase card when i meet these thieves. Chase will be putting the money they stole back in my account tomorrow. I was also told by one of their customers that the Dania Beach Code enforcement showed up at their location yesterday and they did not have all the permits needed to do all the type of poor business they do there. I contacted Code Enforcement today for myself and they told me that the owner will be in on Monday to apply for his permits. Its funny that it took me calling the Code enforcement for them to do the right thing, but that is what happens when you are a dishonest business and you have unprofessional people running your business. I was told by the Office Manger that they do not do service there and they only use independent people to work on your boat. That is a LIE, they have been doing work on boats since they have opened and they even state it on their website. The owner told code enforcement today that it was an old website and he was not aware. Sounds like a lie to me. Again if you value your boat stay away from these people.
