Complaint Review: Baker's Concepts

I joined Baker's Concepts Inc. several months ago. The owner of Baker's Concepts, Daniel Baker, told me about how much money I would be earning. To get started with the company, I was told to send $300 to Daniel through Western Union. He said he wouldn't accept the payment any other way. So, I sent him the money.

Daniel Baker told me about getting involved with any other companies that were associated with his company. I gave him my credit card information, to use only if I gave him permission to sign me up for a various company. So then Daniel went and signed me up for another company without telling me about it, and without my permission. The toal price on my credit card for the signup was $244.91.

I started to notice other lies also that Daniel was telling me about his business. I was getting fed up, so I told him I was leaving the company, and I would like my start up costs back. I have an e-mail that specifically states that if a person decides to leave the company, they would receive a refund of the start up-costs back. The start-up costs are listed as $200.

I asked Daniel for a refund of the start up-costs, and he said I would not recieve a dime. He changed information on his website to say that a person will not receive a refund of the start-up costs if they decide to leave the company.

I would like a refund of the start-up costs which are $200, and also a refund for the fraudulent credit card transactions which were $244.91. I would also like more people out there to be aware of this rip-off of a "business"
