Booked 'DJ Danny Dee' from his very professional looking snazzy website. - don't bee fooled by this - Despite all his promises he does not turn up.

My party was on 16th November 2007, ironically 2 days after Mr Edwards' 2nd appearance on Watchdog (of which I subsequently learned). It was at a very famous Hotel in Sutton Coldfield, nr Birmingham. Needless to say, no one turned up, and no one answered his phone, despite ringing him about 20 times on the night.

He didn't ruin my night totally, thanks to the help and professionalism of the staff at the Ramada Jarvis (Penns Hall Hotel) who were fabulous and arranged another DJ, albeit he did not have all our songs due to the last minute notice.

I rang him on the Sunday night - he acted surprised that no one turned up, blamed his DJ, (he obviously is only a booking agent) rang him whilst I was on the phone, apparently the DJ couldn't find the Hotel, even though he was in Tesco's around the corner!! Apparently, his DJ had not told him that he hadn't turned up, but he was 'one of my best DJ's' - I'd hate to see one of his worst!!

Was promised a full refund of my deposit & 'a gesture of goodwill' etc etc, needless to say, am still waiting. Rang him again 2 weeks ago and he told my husband that as he hadn't heard anything from us, he had passed it on to his DJ (that's right, the one who never turned up in the first place!!). Then, when my husband threatened to take him to the small claims court, he got very abusive.

Anyway, you may be pleased to know that Birmingham Trading standards took him to Court on Friday 29th Feb 2008, he was fined nearly 4000, and if he does it again, will be held in contempt of Court.

There may be some justice after all!!
