Complaint Review: Daniel French

I am involved and a member in many card trading pages on FB and so is Daniel French. I posted some cards that I was willing to trade on a card trade page on November 27, which Daniel messaged me showing interest in the Terry Bradshaw Patch Auto 2011 Five Star Football Graded 9 Mint. After sending me pictures of hockey cards, football cards and other basketball cards, he mentioned a Michael Jordan Refractor Insert which was bv 300.00. It was close to the same bv as the Bradshaw card I had so I decided to go ahead with it. He mentioned that he is an honest trader and gave me some references. These references are unknown to me but they gave me the thumbs up on him and mentioned their trades with him went smoothly. I did the same and gave him my references. After a day or two that passed we decided to go ahead with the deal and sent the cards to each other around the same time. His card came to me first and I opened it while recording for my youtube vids, which shows that it was not a refractor version. I did not assume that he conned me and thought that he just made a mistake between the chrome look and a refractor look. So, I did research of ebay pics between MJ refractor version and non refractors and made a video and posted on my youtube account to show him the differences between the two. I also sent links of ebay listings of non and a true refractor versions. If that was not enough to see, in the video I posted the scanner test for chrome and refractor test (how the light bounces OR refracts of the refractor vs the chrome). He doesn't argue but instead states that he was unaware of this and that someone conned him. He states that he will send my card back ONCE he gets my card in his hands. The afternoon of him receiving my Bradshaw, I find that instead of giving me a tracking number, he BLOCKS me from communicating with him. That raised MAJOR RED FLAGS. I go ahead and talk to Jesse Sneller who has influence in other major trade groups and spoke with the Admin Chazz who handles all of the problems that arises in his trade page group that Daniel French is in. Daniel states to Jesse and Chazz that he will send the card, but never did. He kept using work that prevents him from sending the card back. It's funny that somehow work affects him from sending the card because it didn't affect it from sending me this false refractor card of MJ. In the end, he never tried or actually made it right, and now everyone knows that he is a LIAR, a CHEAT, & a SCUMBAG... DO NOT TRADE WITH HIM or DO ANY DEALINGS!
